Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the views of faculty members in Jordanian universities about the role of extracurricular university educational programs in reducing the phenomenon of extremism among young people. The study sample consisted of (700) faculty members in public and private universities. The researcher built a measuring tool to achieve the objectives of the study. The study showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of indication of the role of educational programs in reducing the phenomenon of extremism due to the variables of sex in favor of females, and the variable of college in favor of the human college.
