The Level of Support Services Provided to Students with Cerebral Palsy and its Relation to the Emotional Stress of their Parents in Jordan

Abstract
The study aimed to identify the level of supportive services represented in (physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy) provided to students with cerebral palsy and its relation to the emotional stress of their parents. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was prepared and distributed to the study sample of (50) parents. The study measures consisted of the support services scale and the emotional stress scale, as the results show that the level of supportive services provided to students with cerebral palsy is average, also, the level of parents’ emotional stress is average. The results show that there is a direct relation between the support services provided to students with cerebral palsy and the level of the emotional stress of their parents. The study results show that there is a positive impact of the occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and physical therapy on the parents of students with cerebral palsy in Jordan.
