Abstract
The study aimed to measure the impact of cloud computing in its dimensions (infrastructure, electronic platform, and software), combined and individually, on operational risks in commercial banks in Jordan, by following the analytical descriptive approach. The primary data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to the senior and middle managements in the Jordanian commercial banks, which numbered (144) individuals. Descriptive and inferential statistical methods were used to analyze the data of the study and test its hypotheses. The study concluded that there is a statistically significant effect of cloud computing, with its combined and individual dimensions, on the operational risks of commercial banks in Jordan. The study recommended that commercial banks rely on cloud computing in line with their strategic objectives and information technology governance, and prepare appropriate plans and alternatives to reduce the operational risks faced by the bank and mitigate their negative effects.
