The role of Educational Activities in caring for Gifted Students in the Schools of the Directorate of Education of Bani Obeid from the Point of View of Teachers

Abstract
The study aimed to identify the role of educational activities in caring for gifted students in the schools of the Directorate of Education of Bani Ubaid from the point of view of teachers. The study population consisted of male and female teachers of Bani Obaid schools. The study followed the descriptive analytical approach, where a questionnaire was designed and distributed to the study sample consisting of (300) male and female teachers, and SPSS software was used to test the study's hypotheses and achieve its objectives. The results revealed that the general arithmetic mean of the role of educational activities in caring for gifted students in the schools of the Bani Ubaid Education Directorate from the teachers' point of view was (3.52), which is an average level. The cultural field ranked first at a high level, while the artistic field ranked last at an average level. The study also concluded that there were no statistically significant differences between the responses of the study sample members about the role of educational activities in caring for gifted students in the schools of the Bani Ubaid Education Directorate due to the variables of gender, educational qualification, and years of experience. The study recommended allocating a budget in each school to support students’ talents and support educational activities, which in turn encourage students to unleash their talents and outstanding abilities, and conclude cooperation agreements between the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Culture to support students’ talents and hold appropriate competitions and programs
