Abstract
The goal of the study was to show how important parents' involvement is in boosting kindergarten readiness in the Bani Obaid District, as viewed by teachers and parents. The approach utilized was a descriptive survey. The study sample consisted of (270) teachers and parents. The results of the study showed that the importance of the parents’ participation in raising the readiness of the kindergarten child in the Bani Obaid District, as seen by the teachers and parents, where it came with a (large) degree of appreciation.
The findings also revealed that there were no statistical differences owing to the effects of the variables: "the work title, the kind of kindergarten, the parents' educational level, and the number of children enrolled in school." The study recommends that the administration provide kindergarten teachers with additional training courses to certify them in the field of kindergarten specialty, allowing them to connect with this group of children effectively.
