As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Publication Rules:

 

  1. The journal is published at Jadara University by the Deanship of Scientific Research, Irbid /Jordan.
  2. Jadara journal publishes original scientific research in all fields, in which all scientific research conditions are met, from inside and outside the university, written in Arabic or English. Submitted research must not have been published or submitted for publication in another journal and researchers must sate that clearly in writing when submitting their research for publication in this journal.
  3. The journal will not look into any submitted research that does not comply with these instructions and publishing rules.
  4. All research submitted for publication is subject to evaluation according to sound scientific principles.

 

Publishing Instructions:

 

  1. Papers should be submitted in Arabic or English, in addition to a 150-word abstract in Arabic and English on a separate page. The number of words must be stated in parentheses at the end of the abstract followed by keywords not exceeding 8 words, so that others can access the search through databases.
  2. The research should be printed on the computer using MS Word 10 (or newer). The line spacing should be 1.5 using Simplified Arabic font size 14 (for papers written in Arabic), or Times New Roman font size 12 (for papers written in English). The font size in tables and figures should be 11.
  3. It must be stated clearly if the research is extracted from a master's or doctoral thesis. This should be stated in the footnote of the title page, and fully documented on one copy of the research in which the researcher's name and address are mentioned.
  4. The number of the search pages should not exceed 30 (A4) pages including figures, drawings, tables and appendices. The tables and figures should not be coloured or shaded and are placed in their original locations and captioned in full.
  5. The researcher must submit an electronic or paper copy of each of the research appendices (if any), such as software, tests, etc., and he must pledge in writing to preserve the intellectual rights of others (intellectual property).
  6. On a separate paper, the researchers provide their names and addresses, including the name of the university or institution in which they work, the department in which they work, their academic ranks, their cell phone numbers, their e-mail addresses, their mailboxes, and their countries.
  7. A short biography of the researcher /researchers is provided with the research.
  8. The research submitted to the journal is subject to preliminary peer-review by the editorial board to determine its eligibility for external peer-review. The editorial board has the right to deny some submitted papers external peer-review based on the preliminary one, and to reject the research at any stage without giving any reasons.
  9. The papers submitted for publication in the journal, if approved in principle by the editorial board, shall be presented to at least two specialized reviewers, who shall be selected with absolute confidentiality.
  10. The journal informs the researcher(s) electronically of the receipt of the research, the status of its review, it acceptance or rejections.
  11. The research accepted for publication takes its publication queue after its final acceptance date.
  12. Documentation: The journal adopts the APA (American Psychological Association) style sheet for documentation, including in-text citation and list of references .The guide includes instructions and foundations related to the elements of documenting scientific research.
  13. The opinions expressed in the published research in this journal express the viewpoint of the researchers only, and do not express the policy of the journal.
  14. The order of research in the journal is subject to technical considerations.
  15. A copy of the journal is given to the authors, in addition to 10 copies of their research.
  16. The rights to print and publish the research are transferred to Jadara Journal for Studies and Research upon notifying the researcher (s) that the research has been accepted for publication in the journal.

 

Publication Procedures:

 

  1. Research is received by email to the following email address: journal@jadara.edu.jo
  2. The first author should attach Pledge (1) and Pledge (2) if the manuscript is elicited from master’s or doctoral theses.
  3. Acknowledgment of receipt is sent to the researcher(s) by the secretariat.
  4. The research is given a receipt number and sent to the journal secretariat in order to check the percentage of plagiarism, as the journal accepts 30% for Arabic language research and 25% for English language research.
  5. The plagiarism report is sent to the editorial board to make a decision either to go through the peer-review procedures, to refuse the research or to ask the researcher to reduce the percentage of plagiarism before starting the peer-review procedures.
  6. The researcher must sign a document to grant the (copyrights) to the journal before completing the peer-review procedures.
  7. Two reviewers are selected from the list of reviewers for each manuscript. In the event that it is rejected by both reviewers, a letter of apology is sent to the researcher, and in the event that the reviewers disagree, a third reviewer is assigned.
  8. In the event that the research is accepted, the reviewers’ corrections are sent via e-mail, and a conditional acceptance letter is sent to the researcher to ensure that the corrections are made.
  9. The researcher is required to send the corrected manuscript by e-mail and fill out the correction report.
  10. In case the required corrections are not made, they are sent to the researcher again. In the event that the corrections are not made for the second time, the search will be rejected.
  11. In the case of making the required corrections according to the instructions:
  • The research is finally accepted by the editorial board.
  • An official letter of acceptance is sent.
  • The research papers that will be published in the next issue are dertemined based on the list of publication priorities.
  • Preparing accepted research for publication.
  • The issue is sent for soft and hardcopy printing.
  • The issue is uploaded on the journal's website and made available in its approved databases.
  • A copy of the journal is sent to each researcher in the published issue.
